The "Kultur- und Freizeitzentrum Marburg (KFZ) e.V." - KFZ for short - was founded in 1976 and is the oldest socio-cultural center in Hesse and the largest in Marburg. 17 full-time employees and over 100 volunteers organize over 300 events every year - from concerts, cabaret, theater and cabaret to readings, exhibitions, discussions, lectures and parties.
Around 60,000 visitors come to the KFZ every year. The KFZ also provides a stage for many artists, associations, groups and initiatives.
