Whether it's a classic, film festival winner or documentary - when you take a seat in the comfortable armchairs and the lights go out in the auditorium, a shared experience begins, somewhere between fiction and reality.

With its in-house cinema series, Kino im U presents a diverse curated film program every Tuesday, Friday and first Wednesday of the month.

In the tradition of communal cinemas, the programmatic approach follows the assumption that film is both entertainment and art. Award-winning Hollywood films and blockbusters are shown alongside international arthouse films in their original version with subtitles, experimental short film programs and documentaries. The various film screenings are accompanied by film discussions with guests, curators or other experts, in which the audience is invited to join in the discussion.
