At the cathedral square, the view opens up over Franconia's "Little Rome" - and if you like, you can even explore Bamberg Cathedral and some of its outbuildings from the inside.

But you won't have time to marvel for long: in your search for clues, you will question suspects and witnesses, pass the traditional University of Bamberg, the modern concert hall and finally reach Little Venice, the picturesque district with its old fishermen's houses directly on the Regnitz. It's worth taking a moment to relax here before diving back into the hustle and bustle of the old town.
