Crime trail Büsum - tides of crime 📍
Searching for clues between harbor flair, North Sea air and maritime history
A sabotaged shrimp boat, a mysterious threat - and suddenly Büsum becomes a crime scene: on the Crime Trail, you go in search of clues yourself and discover the coastal town from a completely new perspective.
At the center of your investigation is the Büsum harbor, the heart of the town. Here, shrimp boats and excursion boats lie side by side, while the fresh North Sea wind and hustle and bustle characterize the atmosphere. You can experience authentic maritime life right on the fishing quay: Fishermen, catches and traditional crafts have determined everyday life here for generations.
The town hall is also part of your investigation area and is symbolic of today's Büsum as a lively coastal town. St. Clemens Church, one of the oldest buildings in the town, presents a completely different picture. With its striking architecture and long history, it is a silent witness to times gone by.
The lighthouse, which has always provided orientation - for ships as well as for your search for clues - is typical of the North Sea. Finally, on the south beach, the view of the Wadden Sea opens up, which is constantly changing depending on the tides and gives the surroundings a special dynamic.
You can discover a piece of history on the Old Harbour Island, where the past and present of the town come together.
The Büsum Crime Trail combines fresh sea air, maritime scenery and exciting exploration to create an excursion on which you can experience the coastal town attentively and with a new perspective.
