KULTUR&GUT

In the location's words:

KULTUR&GUT is a space for culture, encounters and design: in the historic Zeisehallen in Hamburg Altona, we are creating a modern space for cultural formats, community and entertainment as well as coherent and creative design. This space should be accessible and diverse and complement the local scene.

We started out as a creative collective with temporary exhibitions, design markets and pop-up events in Jupiter and Gaußstraße in Ottensen. With the move to the Zeisehallen in 2024, a permanent location has grown where our own cultural events, our design store and the café and bar operations of Café rosa come together with external events. This development is characterized by our attitude: We want to enable culture rather than restrict it and see ourselves as a cultural space with an economic basis to fulfill this aspiration.
