Welcome to the Regional Court of Bremen. We are delighted that you are interested in us and our work.

On the following pages, we offer you an overview of the court district and the tasks of the Regional Court of Bremen, some interesting facts about our historic court building and initial guidance on our opening hours, transport connections and the distribution of our business.

The work of the Regional Court focuses on the administration of justice in criminal and civil cases, which is carried out by independent judges in accordance with the basic principles of our constitutional state. As a rule, court hearings are open to the public.

We would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to see for yourself and simply attend a public session of the civil or criminal divisions of the Regional Court. You can find an overview of our current hearings in our current schedule.
