The Literaturhaus Freiburg opened its doors on October 22, 2017. The motto: Invitation to the daring. An invitation to all those who can't read yet. All those who no longer want to read. The families. The grandmas, the grandpas. Fans, friends and all the rest. Since then, the house has established itself in the city, with over 100 events a year - and always new guests.

The Literaturhaus Freiburg is a stage for regional, national and international literature. A literary workshop for children, young people and adults. A laboratory for new forms of literary communication. A place for words that wander and paths that cross. A warm welcome!
