The OXYMORON DANCE COMPANY is one of the main pillars of the Waschhaus Potsdam alongside the areas of music, literature and the visual arts. The dance studio sees itself as a competence center for dance art, whose special feature is the development of dance work and dance performances from socio-cultural activities and the active participation of children and young people as well as young artists.

The dance studio of the OXYMORON DANCE COMPANY offers an extremely varied course program. With around 20 courses a week in children's dance, modern dance, break dance, street dance, flamenco and ballet, there is something for every taste and all age groups. In addition to regular classes, there is also the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of workshops and stage projects or to work on your own pieces with professional choreographers.

Under the direction of Anja Kozik, the OXYMORON DANCE COMPANY produces several dance pieces every year, which are also performed very successfully internationally and are unique in the context of Brandenburg's independent theater scene. The company sees itself as a multimedia laboratory on the levels of dance, music and video.
