The Chemnitz project office opened its doors on March 7, 2024. Centrally located in the city, directly behind the Karl Marx Monument, the Saxon State Center for Political Education (SLpB) provides an opportunity for exchange and encounters. With its first office outside the state capital, the SLpB has a great opportunity to offer more services in western Saxony than ever before.

The Chemnitz project office is dedicated to European and international education. A particular focus is on political and social developments in Central and Eastern Europe - with lectures, discussion series, workshops and conferences. The project office also aims to be a think tank and networking partner for political education in Western Saxony.

The project office serves as a venue for events and further education and presents the SLpB's extensive range of publications to interested members of the public.
