The Stadt:Kollektiv is the participatory division at D'haus. Here, theater is created for and above all with the people of Düsseldorf - on the stages and everywhere. The Stadt:Kollektiv not only invites citizens to the theater, but also sets out into the city. Artists collect stories, perspectives and questions and stage them artistically with the players. In this way, the Stadt:Kollektiv discovers its own stories in old dramas, new novels and real life every season. Together with all those interested in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area, we bring these stories to the stages of the D'haus or perform them in the city. And borders are not only crossed spatially, but also between the arts and disciplines, between cultures and generations.
