August 30 is finally Büdchen Day again!
Since 2016, Düsseldorf's Büdchen have been transformed into vibrant cultural hotspots one day a year - with live music, DJ sets, art, culinary delights and a children's program. From Unterbilk to Flingern to Derendorf: over 50 locations become stages and islands of reunion with cold drinks and dance floors. And admission? As always: free of charge!

Highlights 2025:

• Super Happy Market on the Fürstenplatz
  Local designers and creatives present their products, works of art and sustainable goods. At the Büdchentag e.V. stand, there will be merch and mixed bags on the house. And if you're more into paper than apps, you can get an old-school folding map here.

• Büdchen Safari
  Büdchen Day stands for down-to-earthness. But it would be nice to take a look at the whole thing from above, wouldn't it? We can do that! Together with Visit Düsseldorf, you can admire Büdchentag from a double-decker bus for the first time. The starting point is the Hip-Hop Büdchen (Kiosk Karakus), from where other locations will be visited. Clemens Henle, board member of Düsseldorfer Büdchentag e.V., will provide you with information and anecdotes about the Büdchen and Büdchentag.

• Music
  To name just a few spots: Hip-hop at Kiosk Karakus, punk at Trinkhalle Beder, modular synthesizers at Kiosk Kiosk, electro vibes at Avontuur-Büdchen (Kiosk 46), at the Strandpiraten at Fortuna-Büdchen and under the wings of the FLINTA party collective "Get Over It" at Cigi44. (You can find all locations including the line-up in the App Special).

• Family program & creative activities
  At Friedensplätzchen you can design amulets and try out blue printing. At Fürstenplatz, old Büdchentag posters will be given a second life: The colorful posters are turned into handmade notebooks. The Bauchkribbeln puppet theater invites you to Hermannplatz and the Repair Café and a screen printing workshop await you in the Maschinendorf in Flingern.

• Culinary delights: From Sri Lankan (Trinkhalle Volksgarten and Louis Kiosk) to hot dogs (Kiosk Sonnenecke) and Bulle Burger (Lessingplatz) to cocktail specials (Schalldicht Büdchen) - all foodies will be satisfied.

• Flea market: The popular neighborhood flea market is back on Volksgartenstraße and there are yard sales in Flingern.

After-show party
From 10 p.m., the party continues for some and really gets going for others:
Reinraum, Graf 39, Salon des Amateurs, Giselle and Schleuse Zwei invite you to go club hopping. You can already get admission wristbands for 15 euros at selected kiosks (Bilk: Bedris Island, Zoo: Schillerplatz, Flingern: Kausal, Oberbilk: Kiosk Karakus and Das Büdchen) and on kiosk day also at the OK kiosk on Fürstenplatz.
