on May 31st we’ll be hosting Cincinnati’s Artifical Go at our beloved local watering hole, Asimmetric. Led by renegade artist/musician Angie Willcutt, Artifical Go is a stylistically sporadic and joyous ensemble of veteran musicians hailing from arguably one of America’s new capitals of modern music. Ryan Sennett’s gentle yet jangle driven guitar riffs, Micah Wu’s fantastically dandy bass lines and Cole Gilfilen’s heavily concentrated drum beats act as an orchestra to Willcutt’s seemingly Dada-esque libretto. Part musical whirlwind and part wild ride of Americana theatrics, Artifical Go is without a doubt one of the bands people walk away from with a jubilant and lasting impression.
