Bagland sind nun mit ihrem vierten Album "States of Being" fertig. Auf dieser Veröffentlichung entwickeln Bagland ihren Sound, der im nordischen Jazz verwurzelt ist, weiter. Seit dem Album Cirkel im Jahr 2019 integriert die Gruppe elektronische Audioquellen. Bagland erkundet mit Synthesizer, Effektpedalen und E-Bass das Gerüst des Genres und erschließt ein verspieltes elektronisches Universum, das immer noch klare Bezüge zum nordischen Sound hat.
