From Minimal to House and beyond with minimal-tech house paragon Sonja Moonear, the vital upstarts DJ sweet6teen and Yamour, and our very own resident Vince.

> I don’t have big ambitions, but more like enjoying, and seeing how I can help other people enjoy life < is how Sonja Moonearrecently described her out-of-music ambitions in one of her rare interviews. But this sums up her current musical approach too: the revered Minimal flagbearer has been around since the scene’s heyday and has nothing left to prove — except to enjoy herself. Studio work? Rare, as her main goal is having fun with machines rather than sticking to a release schedule. Gigs? Select, fun occasions in places she genuinely feels like playing. We’re delighted to welcome her back to Blitz for a masterclass in sleek sounds and frugal funk.

Joining the party is young talent DJ sweet6teen: the Cologne-based artist, who once described her style as > super soft & sweet < thrills with a playful selection of uncovered 90s and 00s House gems, with a penchant for the progressive as well as Trance and Breakbeat. Lately she’s been gravitating towards sleek Tech House, with a charming and distinctly youthful perspective on nostalgia that makes her a perfect fit for this night.

Rounding out the night are our residents and regulars Vince and Yamour: the two selectors seduce with a thoughtful approach to dancefloor dynamics and a sterling selection of all sounds sterlin from House, Techno, and beyond.
