Im Rahmen der World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 lädt CCBB ins internationale Theater Frankfurt zu einem interdisziplinären Community-Event ein, das Mode, Musik und Performance miteinander verbindet.

Im Zentrum steht die Fashion Show des*der ghanaischen Designer*in Austin Nortey, die*der mit upgecycelter Mode aus europäischen Abfallmaterialien arbeitet und damit Fragen von Nachhaltigkeit, globalen Ungleichheiten und diasporischen Perspektiven aufgreift. Eingebettet wird die Show in ein kurzes Gespräch mit Designer*in, das Einblicke in die Praxis und Vision gibt.

Der Abend wird ergänzt durch Live-Performances und Konzerte von mandhla. und ALYZAH, sowie DJ-Sets von Flocka Lo, Sonia Mystik und Sherryaeri, die den Raum in eine Party überführen.

Booty Bounce 2026 – Sustainable Fashion from Europe’s Trash

As part of the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, CCBB invites you to an interdisciplinary community event bringing together fashion, music, and performance at international theater Frankfurt .

At the core of the evening is a fashion show by Ghanaian designer Austin Nortey, who works with upcycled materials sourced from European waste, addressing sustainability, global inequalities, and diasporic perspectives. The show is framed by a short interview offering insight into his artistic practice and vision.

The night continues with live performances by mandhla. and ALYZAH, followed by DJ sets from Flocka Lo, Sonia Mystik and Sherryaeri, turning the space into a party.
