Video game adaptations like ARCANE, THE WITCHER and THE LAST OF US show that stories can thrive across media. A shared vision, respect for each world’s DNA, and strong creative voices are key. Yet beyond the U.S., such co-creations remain rare — even as technology brings all forms closer than ever. This Fishbowl Brunch invites filmmakers, writers and game creators to connect and explore the question: Is transmedia storytelling the future?

Videospieladaptionen wie ARCANE, THE WITCHER oder THE LAST OF US zeigen, dass Geschichten medienübergreifend erfolgreich sein können. Eine gemeinsame Vision, Respekt vor der DNA der erschaffenen Welten und starke kreative Stimmen sind dabei entscheidend. Außerhalb der USA sind solche Gemeinschaftsprojekte nach wie vor selten – obwohl die Technologie alle Formen näher zusammenbringt als je zuvor. Dieser Fishbowl Brunch lädt Filmemacher:innen, Autor:innen und Spieleentwickler:innen ein, sich auszutauschen und zu diskutieren: Ist transmediales Storytelling die Zukunft?
