About the performance:

Duoni Liu is a composer, mixed-media artist, and performer from Shanghai, based in Bielefeld/Cologne. Her work focuses on the intriguing blurring of boundaries between the actual content of music and what the listener perceives—reality vs. perception. Her practice is often interdisciplinary, and her main themes include gender inequality, power, the environment, and technology.
