Comme le chante Jacques Brel, il ne faut jamais détourner le regard, mais observer attentivement. Les films de ce programme nous invitent à regarder celles et ceux qui affrontent le monde et cherchent leur place. Dans BIMO, Sihem et son frère immigrent à Marseille et tentent par différents moyens de s’y intégrer. QUI PART À LA CHASSE suit Léa dont la recherche de sujet pour son documentaire prend une tournure imprévue. La journée de Hamid dans PRINCE DE LA VILLE est bouleversée par la réapparition de son père absent. Dans MAMAN DANSE, la mère de Mégane raconte avec courage de sa relation abusive. Enfin, L’HEURE DU GOÛTER nous rappelle, à travers le quotidien d’une fraise tourmentée, l’importance d’écouter ses besoins et de savoir faire une pause.

In the words of Jacques Brel, we must never look away, but observe carefully. The films in this program invite us to watch those who face the world and seek their place in it. In BIMO, Sihem and her brother immigrate to Marseille and try to assimilate in various ways. HUNTING follows Léa, whose search for a subject for her documentary takes an unexpected turn. Hamid’s day in PRINCE DE LA VILLE is turned upside down by the reappearance of his absent father. In MOM DANCES, Mégane’s mother bravely talks about her abusive relationship. Finally, SNACK TIME reminds us, through the daily routine of a tormented strawberry, of the importance of listening to our needs and knowing when to take a break.
