atmospheric post black metal | black metal | antifascist black metal
Born from the depths of the 2020 frustration, "Frost, Pisse & Elend" rises to oppose the right wing scum more and more present in recent blackmetal. Keeping the noise loud, they bring back the punk attitude to blackmetal. With no distinctive boundaries five songs were created and moulded into their self released debut EP called "Frost". After a split-EP with Ur-In-Stinkt they relased their latest EP Pisse in 2024.
WINSELMUTTER, the „wailing mother“ from german folklore will make your blood freeze with raw, cold black metal that kicks you right back to the 90s. The band inhabits old-school black metal 21st century style: both channeling and challenging the sound and spirit of the second wave with a clear antifascist attitude. The Stubnitz show will also be the release show of their brand new EP Ketzergeyst!
No Sun Rises lets atmospheric coldness collide and meet emotional depth. Between mist-shrouded forests and muddy mountain passes, the band shapes a melancholic foundation that is repeatedly hammered by rasping black metal riffs. Grim harmonies and epic melodies go hand in hand. Driven by inner conflict, rage, and despair, the two vocalists fuel this dense sonic landscape.

Pissed vocals meet harsh guitars and driving drums in a rough mix of anger, frustration and anti-fascist thoughts. Frost, Pisse & Elend cry out to raise your voice -
tell Nazis to piss off! Let's stay the ground in our beloved subculture, everybody else fuck off.
Expect relentless blastbeats and fierce tremolo picking that pierce through an ambience of wrath and discomfort - crowned by the powerful, shrieking and wailing vocals of the WINSELMUTTER herself. The band lets us know: This is what remains when rage meets despair. Their songs speak of decay, suffering and the bitter aftertaste of false salvation.

After a demo, the debut album Ascend/Decay, and the EP Dominium Terrae, the band re-formed in 2021 and released their second album Harmisod in 2023, featuring their heaviest and darkest songs to date. Following several national and international tours, the band’s lineup was expanded to include a female vocalist. In 2026, No Sun Rises will present songs from Harmisod as well as new material that will appear on their upcoming album.
