On stage, Kilter presents Ten Billion Years, an immersive work built around time, repetition, and sonic transformation. The music unfolds through dense writing, drone textures, and powerful rhythmic structures, where improvisation constantly interacts with tightly composed forms.
Developing slowly through layered sound masses, the trio plays with saturation, physical energy, and rhythmic precision, while leaving space for collective listening and breath. Inspired by reflections on material cycles and the stretching of time, Ten Billion Years offers a deep, organic live experience at the intersection of jazz, metal, and contemporary music.
Rather than fusing genres, Kilter constructs its own radical and uncompromising musical language, where sonic power becomes a space for exploration and narrative.
