Real Farmer

Real Farmer are fast making a name for themselves in alternative music scenes all over Europe thanks to their energetic blend of DIY punk, angular art-rock and gritty authenticity. In 2025 they supported the likesof Babyshambles, Protomartyr and The Libertines and played The Great Escape, Primavera a la Ciutat and Pitchfork Paris. The band released their debut EP on Dutch indie Subroutine Records (Tramhaus, The Homesick) in 2019 and signed to Strap Originals in 2023. Their releases have caught adoration of their ever-growing fanbase and key champions in press and radio; including: BBC 6Music, Radio 1, Apple Music 1, So Young, DIY, Louder Than War, God Is In The TV, The Needle Drop and Under The Radar.

 

Real Farmer are: Jeroen Klootsema (vocals), Marrit Meinema (bass, vocals), Leon Harms (drums) and Peter van der Ploeg (guitar, backing vocals).
