⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺ seánces sonores - witch edition #2 ⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺

We are celebrating Walpurgisnacht again with the theme of the witch figure on 30th April in Kulturhof Kalk, Cologne. Our special guests this time are julia ida, Ildikó, Hiraeth and Daisy Ray!
Our second edition delves into a limbo of rituals, aural storytelling with a tongue-in-cheek spirit. We find ourselves immersed in weird, unexpected tracks, consolidating into a whimsical and witchy night.

 

Hiraeth from Wuppertal will open this evening with an eerie performance where she invites us to explore the swallowing features of the ground as a ritualistic act. Our state of minds will then wander through the dj-set by Julia Ida, a direction of chance and dance. The trail goes further into off-kilter rhythms with playful wit by Daisy Ray from Belgium. Twisting synths and warped electronics into restless grooves, her live performance hovers between improvisation, unexpected turns and melodic fragments, leaving remnants in our ears. With this creative encounter, Ildikó from Düsseldorf will go further to the edge of a dance rite where tension, pulsating sounds and our bodies collide.
