“Sports or music” was a question she got from her parents at the age of six, when she was a very energetic kid. Music was the immediate answer, quickly followed by the choice of piano instrument. It was with learning piano that she discovered a new world in which she could transform her feelings into beautiful tunes, and continues till today with composing her own pieces that are calming to millions of people globally.
Yana is a graduate of composition and music theory at the FCUM in Warsaw and the Academy of Music in Poznań (a former student of Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska, Krzesimir Debski and Janusz Stalmierski). In 2021, she created a piece for orchestra titled Fairy Tales performed by the Grand Theatre Orchestra in Poznan and wrote music for several student films and theatre productions.
