Vom 5. bis 7. September 2025 findet das erste Filmfest Aachen im Apollo Kino statt!

Über drei Tage hinweg werden in zwei Sälen rund 30 Filme aus verschiedenen Kategorien, Sektionen und Themenbereichen zu sehen sein:

• Eröffnungsfilm: Lesbian Space Princess 
• Competition (internationaler Wettbewerb)
• Fragments of Resistance 
• Abseits: Dystopia
• Short film programs Electric Shorts und home, interrupted 
• Öcher Wettbewerb 
• Midnight Screenings 
•  

Dazu gibt es ein Rahmenprogramm, das das Festival aus dem Kino an andere Orte der Stadt trägt. Das vollständige Programm und der Timetable werden Mitte August veröffentlicht.

From September 5 to 7, 2025, the first Filmfest Aachen will take place at the Apollo Kino!

Over the course of three days, around 30 films from various categories, sections and subject areas will be screened in two halls:

• Opening film: Lesbian Space Princess
• Competition (international competition)
• Fragments of Resistance
• Abseits: Dystopia
• Short film programs Electric Shorts and Home, interrupted
• Oecher competition 
• Midnight Screenings

There will also be a supporting program that takes the festival out of the cinema and into other places in the city. The complete program and timetable will be published in mid-August.
