In the artist's words:

sun's sons oscillate between hope and hopelessness, speaking from the soul of a generation of young people who are having the rug pulled out from under them every day and who have learned to hold on to each other.

Founded in 2019 and only really active since 2021 due to the pandemic, the band from Frankfurt am Main has quickly attracted attention with its unique balancing act between danceable indie pop and intimate ballads. Their expressive songs with political lyrics have received four-figure radio plays in Germany and almost 100 plays on the renowned US station KCRW.

Sun's sons released the two EPs "Clean Slate" (2022) and "You & My Mind" (2021) as well as their debut album "An Odyssey" (2023) completely on their own, thus establishing their international sound. A sustained European tour followed in 2024 with shows in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and three further tours as support for UK bands Cardinal Black, Ferris & Sylvester and Walt Disco.

The new EP "Wonderful News" was released on July 10, 2026.
