sun's sons have wonderful news: Their new EP "Wonderful News" will be released on July 10, 2026 - an emotional indie record that fans of Bleachers, The 1975, Del Water Gap & Role Model shouldn't miss!

The grand finale of the year will be the "Wonderful News" tour at the beginning of October, with sun's sons headlining in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin. The tour is presented by RAUSGEGANGEN and Untoldency.

After the release of their debut album "An Odyssey" in 2023, the young band from Frankfurt toured Germany for months with various UK bands and played their own tour through France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg in the summer of 2024.

Shortly afterwards, singer Lasse Kuhl dedicates himself to numerous songwriting sessions in Los Angeles, Nashville and New York, expanding both his skills as a producer and his network in the international music scene. This time significantly shaped the new sound of sun's sons: The "Wonderful News EP" sounds like sleepless nights in hotel rooms between heartbreak and coming-of-age euphoria. Kuhl writes his most intimate songs to date and takes on the production himself for the first time. The record is completed in New York City at the end of 2025 - together with artist Imani Graham and Grammy-nominated producer Aleksi Godard.

This year, sun's sons are also going one better audiovisually: instead of classic music videos, each single release will be accompanied by a third of a short film, which was also shot in New York and will premiere on April 12 at the Eldorado Cinema in Frankfurt.
