You probably know that Leipzig has many great open-air venues. But did you also know that the GRASSI is one of these locations? In the special flair of the Museumsquartier, you can not only discover three great museums, but also a special series of open-air events this summer. Everyone is welcome, admission is often free. A place to meet, linger, discover and enjoy the summer.

In the middle of the city and yet completely relaxed: The GRASSI is more than just a museum - it is a favorite place for anyone who wants to combine culture and peace and quiet. Between colorful chairs, lots of greenery and a café to relax in, it's a wonderful place to unwind. And if you like, you can take a stroll through the adjacent park-like cemetery. It's also coming alive this summer: The three museums at GRASSI have once again put together a colorful program together with great partners. Here we show you some of our highlights. From open-air cinema to workshops, everything is included. A little tip: only cash payment is possible on site, so bring your coins!

SOMMER IM GRASSI. FERIENPROGRAMM: Kreativwerkstatt - Erleben, Gestalten, Entdecken
In the creative workshop, you will design dance ribbons, rattles and castanets. Afterwards, you will learn in a workshop how to move to the music and how to use your self-made instruments and the dance band rhythmically. Recommended age from 6 years. Registration at vermittlung.mvl@skd.museum

Enjoy the end of the day with drinks, music and new ideas in the museum courtyard. Try your hand at lino printing, cyanotyping or make old treasures shine in a whole new way. Grab a friend and have a colorful summer evening! Free admission.

Pack your picnic basket, it's going to be colorful here. A varied program with music, tombola, games and entertainment for all ages awaits you in the inner courtyard of the Grassimuseum. There are lots of surprises!
