As a landmark of the city, the Renaissance building of the Old Town Hall dominates the market square. From the remains of old prison cells in the cellar to the historic rooms on the main floor and the tower sphere, the building embodies Leipzig's city history through and through - making it the most valuable museum object itself. Behind the façade, hundreds of objects and thousands of stories are presented in the museum's exhibition on three floors.

During the 60-minute tour, you will learn about highlights from 1000 years of Leipzig's city history and the almost 500-year history of the Old Town Hall - surprises and room for questions included.
