The 12th edition of the Multiphonics Festival from October 12 to 18 in Cologne shows just how diverse, multifaceted and global the sound world of the clarinet and other woodwind instruments can be. Once again this year, the nine concerts are an invitation that goes beyond cosmopolitan jazz music: Because the "foreign" view of one's own musical culture not only broadens the artistic perspective, it also sharpens the understanding of one's own musical imprint.
