On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Tübinger Straße - from Marienplatz to the city center
Marienplatz to the city center - will once again be transformed into a lively art mile. From 2 pm to 10 pm
artists from Stuttgart will be presenting their works in unusual places: in bars
hairdressing salons, a shopping center or even a cinema.
The 14th ArtWalk Stuttgart invites you to experience art in a new way in the middle of everyday life - free,
diverse and approachable.
Theme 2026: "Poets and thinkers"
Baden-Württemberg is known as the land of poets and thinkers. Personalities such as Friedrich Hölderlin, Hermann Hesse, Eduard Mörike, Friedrich Schiller, Sophie von La Roche, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and Martin Heidegger have left their mark on literary and intellectual history from here - far beyond the state's borders.
Art is more than just an expression; it is a thought turned into an image, an intention made visible. What is difficult to put into words finds its place in the image.
When words and images merge, new levels of meaning are created: A text can deepen, expand or comment on an image. Conversely, a poem can itself become an image - or words become part of the visual composition. Anything is possible between language and representation.
Come along and discover art in words and images.
