Endometriosis affects millions of people worldwide. It is a chronic disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, often on the ovaries, fallopian tubes or in the abdomen. Diagnosis often takes years and many suffer in silence. The event shows how new technologies can improve diagnosis and treatment and break down taboos. Beatrice Aretz (founder of Caona Health) and Prof. Dr. Tanja Fehm (Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Düsseldorf University Hospital) will discuss how science and digital innovations are making endometriosis more visible and easier to treat - and what challenges exist. The event will be moderated by Aylin Çerik (CORRECTIV's Salon5 youth editorial team).

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to chat over snacks and drinks.
