Weltautismustag - Harfner Helian und Vernissage „Künstler im Licht“

Harp music by Harfner Helian and the vernissage of an exhibition of autistic artists.

Harfner Helian's special instrument is the medieval harp. He not only performs medieval pieces on it, but also Irish and English folk music in particular, as well as meditative sound versions. He is accompanied on some Irish and Celtic tunes by José F. Sanchez on the fiddle and Alfred Wolz on the guitar.

Harfner Helian's music will frame the vernissage of the painting exhibition "Artists in the Light". For over ten years, artists with autism and artists without disabilities have been working together weekly in tandems in the studio. The very special relationship that develops in this encounter is the basis for a special creative process in which joint paintings are created. A selection of these pictures will be on display in Keller Z 87 until the end of May. The exhibition provides fascinating insights into each of these artists' specific perspectives on the world around them.

This combination of extraordinary music and the presentation of special works of art takes place on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day.
