In the organizer's words:

New Wednesday ritual! Literature is food and the KHM is 35 years old! To celebrate this, we have teamed up with the Cologne City Library in the Literary Writing specialization and are now having lunch with books. The series will kick off on Wednesday, November 5 with Simone Scharbert, who will jump back to 1987 and present "Kleist, Moos, Fasane" by Ilse Aichinger and her story "Wo ich wohne".
Simone Scharbert writes prose and poetry. She studied political science, philosophy and literature in Munich, Augsburg and Vienna, before gaining a doctorate in political science. Scharbert lives and works as a freelance author and lecturer in Erftstadt. Her most recent publication is the novel Für Anna. Eine Belichtung (Voland & Quist, 2025). She is currently a fellow for literature at the TH Köln as part of the Inclusive Neighborhood Development.
