40 Jahre IG Jazz Rhein-Neckar

In the organizer's words:

On May 15, 2026, IG Jazz Rhein- Neckar will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a special concert evening at the Alte Feuerwache Mannheim:

The focus will be on a concert by a fantastic big band put together especially for the occasion under the direction of Prof. Hendrika Entzian.

Compositions by four regional artists commissioned by IG Jazz especially for this evening will be performed.

The event will be framed by three short performances by various combos, as well as short greetings from the cultural and urban environment. The event will conclude with an open after-show session from 10 p.m. in the café|bar, which will allow for encounters, exchange and musical togetherness.
