Five years of sustainability in the neighborhood - what once began as a joint initiative with KiFaZ NeckarPark and Kulturinsel is now a lively meeting place for engagement, exchange and concrete change. Together with our committed partners and initiatives, we are delighted to once again set a strong example for sustainable urban development in Veielbrunnen.

Look forward to the vintage flea market & swap meet (KiFaZ NeckarPark): Swap clothes and favorite items for new treasures.

Find out about the ecological footprint and handprint as well as the development in the Veielbrunnen area (with GWA, Kulturinsel Stuttgart, Welthaus Stuttgart & KiFaZ NeckarPark).

In the Balcony & Garden area, you can look forward to Inselgrün, a project in the Stuttgart Climate Innovation Fundwhich brings the "edible quarter" to life. There is information about the Inselgrün seed bank as well as free seeds and seedlings to take away (Kulturinsel).

There will also be tomato seedlings and advice from Vroni, and the GreenScouts from BUND will introduce themselves and a new project for urban greening and natural shade (Kulturinsel, Vroni & BUND).

Learn how to turn leftovers into something tasty at the food recycling course and discover do-it-yourself natural cosmetics and other food-related offers (with Foodsharing, Kulturinsel & KiFaZ NeckarPark).

For young and old, there will be a sensory and exercise trail, creative craft and upcycling activities as well as hands-on climate protection with the environmental station (with Haus der Familie Stuttgart, Hochschule für Technik & KiFaZ NeckarPark).

Food made from rescued food will be provided, complemented by the Inselgrün tea bar and homemade lemon water in the welcome room (with Foodsharing, Kulturinsel & KiFaZ NeckarPark).

And there will also be other hands-on activities and campaigns relating to sustainability. 🌿
