5. Spooky Spike: Das Halloween Roundnet (Spikeball) Fun-Turnier

Listen up, you lost souls, ghouls and warlocks!

The air is getting colder, the nights longer and an ominous whisper is drifting across the fields of Leipzig. It is a sign! The time has come to drag your darkest creatures out of the mothball-scented crypts of your wardrobes. Get ready for the scariest roundnet tournament the mortal world has ever seen:

What is Roundnet (Spikeball) anyway?

Don't worry if you've never heard of Roundnet! It's simple: two teams compete to hit a small ball onto a net placed in the middle. The aim? To hit the ball so that the opponent can't get to it. Similar to beach volleyball, but much more dynamic and fun. You don't need any previous experience, because it's all about having fun!

The unholy schedule

On the unholy evening of November 1st, when the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest:

• 17:00: The gates to damnation open for check-in.
• 17:30: The whistle blows and the games of the damned are unleashed.
• 22:00: The tournament comes to a cruel end.
• Until dawn: (or the neighbors come with torches) The afterparty of the undead begins...

The cursed place

Venture onto the abandoned grounds of the old sports field, whose ground is haunted by the ghosts of past games. Follow the flickering lanterns and the echo of tortured screams...

What awaits you in the darkness

COSTUME COMPULSORY!!! Our undead bouncers know no mercy. Anyone appearing in profane human form will be denied entry.

Pact with fate: The teams will be forged together by chance through a dark ritual (our cursed lottery pot). Pray to the old gods that they will be kind to you.

Rules from hell: Forget everything you thought you knew! During the game, the laws of physics and sport can change in nightmarish ways. Serves are a thing of the past! Today, chaos reigns... and fun.

Gifts for the spirits: Food and drink are provided to keep your mortal shells strong. But the ghosts demand a sacrifice: please bring a little something for the buffet of horrors. A homemade bone cake? A blood-red dip? Anything is welcome, but anyone who dares to serve pumpkin soup again will feel the wrath of the demons! (And get a very, very nasty look from all of us 😉)

Creature contest: The most hideous and imaginative apparition will be awarded a prize! Transform yourselves into vampires, werewolves or the manifestation of your deepest fears. Devilishly good prizes await!

One last warning: remember that this place is haunted. Stay in groups and don't stray from the paths. Rumor has it that many a person who ventured into the darkness alone was never seen again... At least not until the next training session.

Whether you put your soul on the line in the game or just linger on the edge of the abyss as a ghoulish onlooker - you can't miss this event! Mark the date in your calendars with blood (or a red pen).
