8. Community Ausstellung

In the organizer's words:

In June 2024, we opened our SKM Gallery in Leipzig and are now pleased to show changing exhibitions here on a regular basis.

The exhibition Echoes of Presence invites you to capture the fleeting moment. In their works, 7 outstanding talents from German art academies examine what happens when the present becomes a memory.

From expressive color landscapes that draw you into their atmosphere, to the quiet poetry of deserted spaces, to an intense examination of one's own identity and origins. Here, painting becomes a mirror of one's own life and an open dialog about existence in the now is created.

Each work is an echo: an echo of emotions, places and encounters that lives on in the viewer.

Take the opportunity to meet the artists in person at the SKM Gallery on the opening evening. Find out first-hand about the stories behind the brushstrokes and exchange ideas with other art enthusiasts over drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

ABOUT STUDENT ART MARKET

With Studierenden Kunstmarkt, we want to support art students on their way into independent artistic life and give works created during their studies a stage. Through SKM, we offer art enthusiasts the opportunity to discover and acquire exciting and multifaceted art of various subjects by young artists. With SKM, our mission is to make art more accessible and at the same time more personal. In the last 2 years, we have enabled over 300 students to exhibit and sell their works in our online gallery.

With the gallery, we not only want to create a place to show art, but also a place where encounters, inspiration and exchange can take place. A place that is open to ideas and creativity.

With this in mind, we cordially invite you to the vernissage to fill this place and this vision with life. We look forward to seeing you there in large numbers, to exciting encounters and inspiring conversations with you!
