Ab morgen bin ich mutig is a movie about first love. It's about taking action quickly before you have to change schools after 6th grade. But the first step requires a lot of courage!

If Karl could have chosen who he fell in love with - it probably wouldn't have been Lea. She's a head taller than him! And how is he supposed to find out whether she reciprocates his feelings? The summer vacations are just around the corner and luckily his big brother Tom has a tip: Karl should just do something with Lea. So he invites her to his self-built photo lab in the bathroom. Lea seems thrilled by his "light magic". But how she really feels about him remains unclear. And soon it will be too late: after the vacations, they will go to different schools. The upcoming project trip offers the last chance to get to know Lea better.
