Every Sunday in Advent, the Raffael Becker Museum invites visitors to discover the diverse work of Cologne artist Raffael Becker (1922-2013) free of charge. Through Raffael Becker's paintings, visitors can trace Cologne life from the post-war period to the 2000s. His art covers a broad spectrum - from delicate ink drawings to large-format panel paintings. In the post-war period, Raffael Becker explored all the major modernist movements such as Cubism, Futurism and New Objectivity, as well as the medieval painting of Stefan Lochner, and thus found his own unique style.

On three floors, the museum's extensive collection offers visitors the opportunity to discover the work for themselves via an audio tour. The highlight: the stories behind the pictures are told by the artist himself.

Every Sunday in Advent: 11 am - 5 pm. Free guided tour at 3 pm

Admission is free of charge on all Sundays in Advent 2025. A free guided tour is also offered on Advent Sundays at 3 pm.
