Advent in den Höfen Kleinzschochers

In the organizer's words:

For the 7th time, residents and stakeholders from the district, with the support of the Kleinzschocher citizens' initiative, are organizing the Advent in the courtyards on the Saturday before the 3rd Advent in various courtyards and premises in Kleinzschocher.
In addition to the locations themselves, there is a lot to discover from loving hands - be it delicious Christmas cookies, (Christmas) rarities from private households and, of course, homemade mulled wine (with and without alcohol). The ZSCHO paper theater makes children's hearts beat faster with a Christmas story. In some places, visitors are invited to do handicrafts, watch movies or make bread on a stick by the warming fire.

It's not just the neighborhood that comes together in a pre-Christmas atmosphere. Guests from near and far are also very welcome. To round off the evening, there will be a spectacular fire show for young and old in front of the Tabor church by Ilja Molle, followed by a concert in the Tabor church with the big band from the Leipzig music school. Christmas can come!

- Am Adler: Mini Christmas market with bread on a stick by the fire, mulled wine, wrapping presents together for the charity Christmas campaign

- Alfred und Wir: 10 am - 1 pm: Open inventor workshop with the inventor children, 11 am: String ensemble "Klang von nebenan", 4 pm: Courtyard concert with Toni makes music, fire barrel & punch (Altranstädter Straße 44)

- Altranstädter Straße 41: Flea market for young and old with (un)Christmassy video projections

- Alte Handelsschule: 3-6 p.m. Exhibition "semper idem" with paintings, graphics and textile installations by Peter Busch, Katharina Immekus and Bea Meyer (Gießerstr. 75)

- Atelier vom Wolf: 3 and 4 pm paper theater ZSCHO - Christmas story (Creuzigerstraße 2)

- Campestr. 1: mulled wine, children's punch and cookies, campfire with stick bread, children's flea market, information stand: self-organized house purchase and conversion

- Dieski 44: 12pm - 4pm workshop "Embroidery with hot glue gun", warm golden milk, 7pm concert with Maria Schüritz and special guests "Upcyclophones & Voice" (Dieskaustr. 44)

- Gemeindesaal Taborkirche und Umgebung: Sustainability flea market for children's and toys, hands-on activities from the Mütterzentrum, yurt from the scouts, cake bazaar, bratwurst (Windorfer Straße 45a)

- Kräuerladen Irene Finke: Advent bazaar with Santa Claus (Windorfer Straße 44)

- Leutzscher Füchse: snacks on offer, approx. 4 pm first film screening since the closure of UT Kleinzschocher in 1962 with "Pingpong Paradise" (Dieskaustraße 79)

- Lixer-Laden: 2 pm Defa animated film "Berg Simeli", 2:45 pm cookie making with Sabine, 3:30 pm Defa animated film "Der gestiefelte Kater", 4:15 pm cookie making with Sabine, snacks and hot drinks (Pörstener Straße 9)

- Mikrokosmos: making Christmas decorations, Christmas photo shoot, children's punch, (Baumannstr. 16)

- Tauchnitzvilla: mulled wine with and without alcohol, stollen with and without raisins, music with and without Christmas

- Taborkirche (closing): 5.30 pm fire show with Ilja Molle on the church forecourt, 6 pm concert in the church with the big band of the Leipzig Music School
