In a remote town, missing persons reappear after many years under mysterious circumstances that hint at a deep, even darker malaise. Police inspector Fathi and his friend, the doctor Amine, take up the investigation before a special unit arrives. Away from the hustle and bustle and tension, a raven and a blue dog observe humanity and ask themselves questions about its nature and decline. AGORA is a mixture of thriller and fable, inspired by true events, and shows a city haunted by its past. In it, filmmaker Ala Eddine Slim denounces the neglect of entire communities, which is a consequence of the failure of the authorities and a blatant political absence.
