Think Big! #11: Alfredo Zinola: POSTO (6+)

In the organizer's words:

In their projects, Alfredo Zinola and Micaela Kühn Jara question the relationship between society and childhood. In their new piece "Posto", nobody stays seated. Three large balls and three dancers invite the audience to join in: to run, dance and move - and sometimes to stand still and watch together. How do you do that together? "Posto" opens up a space in which everyone can find their own place. It is a game about feeling for each other when sharing space.

The starting point is three oversized, inflatable balls, which are the only props in the empty space. They invite interaction and trigger a variety of reactions. How can individual needs for closeness, distance or observation be translated into a shared experience? The interplay between dancers and audience takes center stage and makes community, respect and consideration tangible for everyone.
