A sing-along mantra concert & the wisdom of yoga with Mahakaruna

Originating from classical kirtan, Mahakaruna combines mantras with modern melodies and spiritual English lyrics to create music that touches the heart.

With Brazilian and Indian percussion, a jazzy double bass and some folky guitar tones, the band presents a groovy and recognizable sound, a fine new voice in the world of mantras and kirtan music. Singer Celine, with her powerful voice, not only leads you through this evening musically, she also lets you immerse yourself in the mysticism of yoga wisdom. Let yourself be touched by Mahakaruna's unique sound and her loving presence:

About Maharakuna:

The five members of Mahakaruna first met in Cologne in 2024. Led by the powerful voice of singer and mystic Celine, the band quickly made a name for themselves in Cologne's kirtan and mantra community and have now found their home base and soul home at JayJay's.
