Michael takes you on a journey through the history of Cologne and its organic waste and shows the current state of how various actors in Cologne deal with food waste, green waste, compost, worm bins and carrot greens.

Michael Cieslik has been involved in data analysis for over 20 years, especially in the area of the dual system and resource conservation in addition to the residual waste garbage can. He has been a volunteer in Zero Waste associations since 2021 and is currently a board member of both Zero Waste Köln. e.V. and the umbrella organization Zero Waste Germany e.V.
