Kati is deaf, Florian is blind. He is a stadium commentator for FC St. Pauli, she discovers the world through her camera. When they meet at Dialoghaus Hamburg, they develop their own language - beyond words and gestures, supported by closeness and courage. But their different worlds and the expectations of their families and surroundings put their relationship to the test time and again. Their love seems almost impossible to outsiders and therefore unfolds a special power.

The film is the first German feature film production to star people who are deaf (Cindy Klink) and blind (David Knors) in real life. It shows how closeness can arise where others only see boundaries. And it makes it tangible that love does not reside in words or looks, but in the attempt to turn to the other again and again.
