We are very excited to announce that Altın Gün will be releasing their brand new album "Garip" next spring, heralding a new chapter in their musical journey.

To celebrate this, the band will be performing their new songs on stages across Europe as part of an extensive tour until spring 2026. "Garip" marks a return to the Anatolian folk-rock sounds of the 70s and is a tribute to the late legendary composer Neşet Ertaş.

Altın Gün eschews elaborate synthesizer production in favor of live instruments, vintage hardware and real-time interaction. Each track on "Garip" is a reinterpreted version of traditional Turkish folk songs composed by Neşet Ertaş, presented through the lens of psychedelic rock, funk and spacey groovy pop.

Critics highlight the hypnotic, swirling textures, space rock tendencies, the interplay of prog-folk and danceable grooves as characteristic features.
