At the Laberfeuer #38: Markus Dichmann with "BOOOOM!!! The world of superheroes - the first 100 years"
Markus is an author, journalist and host of the history podcast "Eine Stunde History" (Deutschlandfunk). He has been addicted to superhero comics since his childhood and is clearly not alone. In "BOOOOM!!!", he sheds light on the history of superheroes, the stories behind the stories and seeks answers to the question of whether and how popular characters can be categorized ideologically.

Am Laberfeuer is a lecture/discussion/meeting point/jour fixe/anti-instagram for comic creators and interested parties and usually takes place on the 1st Thursday of the month. After the respective guest has talked about their work or a comic-related topic for ten to fifteen minutes, everyone talks with and through each other in a friendly manner. We are on site and documentation is kept to a minimum.

Am Laberfeuer is organized and moderated by @leoleowald, who draws the comic strip himself.
We're sitting in the ComicLab in the Coeln Comic Haus, where @sebastian.strombach 's spectacular exhibition "Jeck! - The comic about Cologne Cathedral" is on display.
