Anke Hachfeld // bird - my voice & me

In the organizer's words:

With bird - my voice & me, Anke Hachfeld (MILA MAR) presents a unique solo vocal performance for only around 45 spectators per evening, in which her extraordinary voice becomes the central instrument.

With spherical, deeply moving sounds and influences from Joik, the archaic singing style of the indigenous Sami people, she creates a hypnotic world of sound that goes far beyond the familiar. The audience is invited to lie down directly on the stage and experience the performance not only acoustically, but also physically - an immersive sound experience that gets deep under the skin.
An invitation to immerse yourself in sound spaces that seem both earthbound and remote at the same time.
