Antje Velsinger / new trouble - OUR FUTURE

In the organizer's words:

OUR FUTURE is dedicated to the question of what we need to practice together in order to prepare for the future in the face of multiple crises. How can we encourage each other when we feel powerless?

Based on a joint research process with young people, the artistic team of new trouble asks: "What does it take to raise our voices despite unfair starting conditions and the power gap between generations in our society?"

In OUR FUTURE, dancer Laura Schönlau invites the audience into a speculative training space. In the midst of a fragile construction, she practices attack and defense, testing what it means to stand up for something. Accompanied by the voices and perspectives of the young people, a polyphonic solo unfolds - between movement and sound, speculation and hope, outlook and foresight.
