ARGIES: The band was founded in 1984 and although its roots are in British punk of the seventies, its music today shows influences of ska, reggae, dub and a good portion of rock'n'roll elements and Latin rhythms.

The band functions like a collective group of dedicated musicians who come in and out of the Argies with the same freedom that characterizes the work in the band. The particular way in which the band makes music has made Argies a truly independent cultural movement over the years.

Since 1999, the band has regularly toured extensively in South America, Europe and around the world. It is not easy to determine the exact number of concerts. They have shared the stage with Die Toten Hosen at least 13 times between 1997 and 2018.
